Solo SaaS Builder · 6 Products Shipped · The MVP Guy

I build production SaaS MVPs in 14 days for non-technical founders. Writing about what actually works – no fluff.

User Growth: First 30 Days

50 users in 30 days. Not followers. Not email signups. Actual users who created accounts and used the product. Here's the exact playbook.

Day 1–3: ProductHunt Launch

ProductHunt is still the best single-day launch channel for SaaS. The key is preparation: a compelling tagline, and a first comment that tells your story. I got 12 users on day 1 from a ProductHunt launch with zero upvote hunting.

Post on ProductHunt at 12:01 AM PST on a Tuesday or Wednesday. Reply to every single comment within the first 2 hours.

Day 8: The Reddit Post

Reddit works if you give value first. I posted in r/SaaS with a "I built this in 14 days, here's what I learned" format not a product pitch. The post got 200 upvotes and sent 16 users to the app.

Never post "check out my product" on Reddit. Post your learnings, your failures, your process. The product link goes in the comments if people ask.

Day 15: The X Thread

A 10-tweet thread showing the build process screenshots, code snippets, the problems I solved. Got picked up by 2 larger accounts and drove 14 more signups.

X threads work best when they show process, not results. "I built X" performs worse than "Here's how I built X in 14 days thread."

Cold DMs: The Underrated Channel

I sent 30 cold DMs to founders who had tweeted about the problem my product solved. Personalized, short, no pitch. 8 replied. 5 signed up.

The 50-user milestone is about finding the 50 people who have the exact problem you solve and putting the product in front of them directly.

Want a product worth launching? I'll build it in 14 days.
