Privacy Policy

This site is operated by The MVP Guy("I," "me"), a service by Muhammad Tanveer Abbas (Sole Proprietor) based in Faisalabad, Pakistan, as a portfolio and client intake channel for SaaS build services. It applies to visitors, form submitters, and clients who interact with this website.

You provide directly

• Name, email, project summary, and budget tier when you book a call at /#book.
• Messages you send by email or through Cal.com when booking a call.
• Chat messages you type in the on-site assistant. They are stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and sent to the AI provider only to generate a reply. I do not store chat history on my servers.

Collected automatically

• IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and referral URL when analytics tools run.
• Basic session metadata to understand how people found the site.
• Error and performance data when something breaks (Sentry).
• Usage analytics including page views, button clicks, scroll depth, and session recordings with masked inputs (PostHog).

Payments

If you become a client, payment details are handled by your chosen provider (Payoneer or bank transfer). I do not collect or store card numbers on this website. I do keep invoices and transaction records for accounting and tax purposes.

• Respond to inquiries and deliver contracted work.
• Send project updates and service-related email.
• Operate, secure, and improve the website.
• Measure traffic and product usage (see analytics section below).
• Prevent spam, abuse, and duplicate form submissions (rate limiting).
• Meet legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations.

I do not sell your personal information to data brokers or advertisers.

This site uses the following analytics and monitoring tools:

Some preferences are stored in your browser. Essential items keep the site working; analytics cookies load with the page.

You can clear cookies and localStorage in your browser settings at any time. Deleting the chat history key (mvp-chat-history) clears all stored assistant messages.

I share data only with the services needed to run the business:

• Vercel: hosting provider; serves the website and its serverless functions.
• Cal.com: scheduling when you book a call at /#book.
• Groq: AI provider that processes chat messages to generate replies; and Tavily, used to search for current information when the assistant answers questions.
• Upstash: rate limiting (IP addresses are used transiently to prevent abuse).
• PostHog and Google Analytics: analytics and session data as described in section 4.
• Sentry: error monitoring as described in section 4.
• Payment processors (Payoneer, banks): handle payments when you become a client.

These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies. Data may be stored or processed in the United States or other countries where those vendors operate; transfers are made using vendor safeguards such as standard contractual clauses where required by law.

The site uses HTTPS, input validation, rate limiting, and standard security headers. No online system is perfectly secure. If you believe your data was exposed, contact me promptly at themvpguy.contact@gmail.com.

• Form inquiries: up to 2 years, or until you ask for deletion if there is no active project.
• Active and completed project files: duration of the engagement plus about 1 year for support follow-up.
• Invoices and payment records: up to 7 years where tax law requires.
• Chat messages: kept only in your browser until you clear them; I do not keep a server-side copy.
• Analytics data: per each vendor's default retention (GA4 and PostHog up to 14 months unless configured otherwise).

You can:

• Clear cookies and localStorage in your browser settings at any time.
• Unsubscribe from non-essential email by replying and asking to stop.
• Request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data you provided by emailing me.
• If you are in the EU, UK, EEA, or California, you also have the right to data portability, to object to processing for analytics, to withdraw consent at any time, and (in California) to opt out of any future sale or sharing of personal information - I do not sell data today, and you can also make a request via email.

Email themvpguy.contact@gmail.com and tell me where you are located and what you need. I will respond to legitimate requests within a reasonable time, typically within 30 days. I may ask for verification before acting on a request.

This site is for adults running or planning a business. I do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). Contact me if you believe a minor submitted information.

I may update this policy when tools or practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when I do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
